Since december 2012 Battlestations: Midway is supported by GameSpy no longer. The only one possibility for Midway players is GameRanger. Please visit www.gameranger.com, download Gameranger client and make new account. You can find other Midway players in the Gameranger rooms. BS:M patch 1.1.1 is required to play online battles. Iowa Mission Pack and Midway Modders Mappacks 1 and 2 are recommended.

Has anyone had any luck getting guns to work on the Pennsylvania class battleship, and Tennessee-class battleship?  ( USS Arizona and California among others from the IJN pearl harbor mission)

After looking through vehicleclasses.lua it's obvious that no platforms ( guns) are coded in for them, so the turrets seen on them are likely attached to the parent model.

With a little help getting these extracted and converted to obj format i can do the work of detaching the turrets  and making them seperate files, or can simply use the new york turrets..  if someone is willing to help me  get these ships back into mmod format and code them to be usable.

sounds good.
but you cant open mmod files!!

and new units or changed weapons on a old platform will not run in multiplayer matches!!

you can do everything with the guns

but only working in singleplayer then.
also if you change all files in GGame_global, GVMainMenue and GGame_OnInit

To play only singleplayer onBSP,everything is possible to change.no Problem.

all no problem,but onls in SP.
MP always crashes.

MMOD is already opened! The way to add new units is available. However is hell job. But advanced user can do it.

why is the kongo class BB and fuso class bbs have the less aa than all the  Jap CAs? realy should have more aa guns 4 triple 25 and 4 single 25  kongo class and 6 or 8 triple 25  and 2 single in back  2 single in front.

you can give it the fubuki 5" main turrets as AA flak!!!!!!!

that would be more effective then
its no problem to do this

  • N_Trainz : Yeah I wanted to do this, but the installers were being a pain giving me errors about something. I finally got it working, and just figured out how to make the updater now since it'll be two parts with one containing the misc files and the other mostly the mpak files. It'll be a stand - alone DLC mod just like the Bismarck Mission Pack was. Like I said I plan to have it all completed and uploaded by this weekend
