Hmm my models are way nicer and cleaner (no offence) all you're mod does is changes the ship deck to wood color instead of green but mine changes gun colors and everything you can see on that ship. So sorry to ruin your happy moment ag

No one play's this game anymore except for admiral and now that he kicks me out of every game i cant play anymore. and if i create my own they leave because of 2500 command poins mod and if i set it to 1200 they will have 600 cp this mod wrecked my game completely...

Yeah god job comparing Tamiya models to ingame ships but once again I don't see the point ^^ texture mod replace hull camo, deck color, gun color AND everything you see on the ship, at least for all japanese cruisers and destroyers, I hardly see any difference between the models you links and the job I did.


And for the complete mod I can only suggest you to answer in the proper topic, but it's common sense that any not-texture-only mod will disable capacity to play multiplayer with people that doesn't have the same mod installed. Blame Eidos for not being mod-supportive.

What do you mean by "All of your Tamiya links can't work, man. Half of your links are irrelevant." and the ships you made look old and rusty and dirty. so maybe you can clean them? and remove the camo its not needed.

I2cold, it's just that if I try to get to your links from TamiyaUSA they say they forbid direct link, so I can't know what you are talking about for half of your links >< I'm not trying to ruin your topic but I'd like at least not to guess what we are talking about.

Those 1/700 Waterline Series are really good, BTW, I have the Yamato and the Myoko in this serie, both are really good, it's the models that got me back into WW2 ships, and ultimately into battlestations also ^^

But once again, I still don't understand what you really want to do about this. A texture mod abut removing the green camo on japanese ships ? I'ts been already done. Only things I see new in your links are the camo for the Zuikaku and the camo removal of the jap landing ship...Be more precise, I mean I don't want to stop you but help you if you have a clear project, but for the moment I have seen anything. Let m help you.

All the textures on the models i gave i want them to be in-game. im not sure if they're in game since the carriers aren't nice. 1 that really impressed me was http://www.tamiya.com/english/waterline/31214.htm it would be nice to see all the ships in the game with the textures above. HMS Repulse doesn't have black guns..

So we agree you want to get a grey texture on all japs ships and have a carrier with a colorful camouflage ? I repeat myself, but this as been already done...

  • Legendary Da : Hi everyone, I have one (or two) quick question about BS:M modding. I try to figure out sp mapmaking, and my first act on it was to convert a MP map to SP. However I can only play as Allies in those maps. What parameter do I have to change to play those maps as Japanese in the respective map .mpak (And where is the parameter I have to change?)?

  • The Dictator : Makeo67 i've explained how to find the unused slots in the topic and the mmod2txm it's a program that has been shared. However there aren't so many ships with unused platforms and sme of them are in wrong positions and for move them you need to know how to change the mmod file. But if you know how to do it you can make new platfors as you want. I've shared the south dakota disposition and this one is the most intersting in my opinion

  • Mokeo67 : I tried changing the bogue class carrier to a yorktown class in the phillipene sea mission and one of two things happened. The mission either didnt change or the game crashed.

  • Axis_Crusher : specific mission’s 3_scene mpak file by working on the .lua file. There is where the bonus unit is actually added into the mission (by the script). I haven't tried it myself so good luck.
  • Axis_Crusher : I assume you are talking about the bonus units that you unlock for certain missions by completing previous ones (like the B - 25’s in the 2nd Battle of Guadalcanal). The bonus units are unlocked by completing certain objectives in the campaign - so that is linked to your campaign progress. Since that cannot be altered you must look at the missiontree.lua file. This is where the unit will show up unlocked on the mission screen. There are references to allunitslock. Also you will have to edit the
  • Mokeo67 : Thank you I will look in this file. I did unlock all the campaign missions, all you have to do is delete the text after 'prerequisite' and it will unlock. But I havent figured out how to unlock the bonus units.
  • Axis_Crusher : I also prefer it being off, just as most of the BSM community. Most players, however prefer repair to be enabled so that is what we should do. Most of our maps it will be disabled through the script however. If you want to play with the game's repair settings you can find it under shipglobals.lua
