I don't think it is stupid to make a call for potential modders, as the truth is if we don't find more people willing to make the work I stated earlier, we can't advance quicker. We have the tools to do it but it lacks people to use them. but let's face it; even in the event we'd be managing to get a complete team (2 teams ? Don't dream there is no chance we'd gt that much people), would it be worth it ? Since the known community for this game seems to be limited to a handful of people...

The Mod team can only focus on a few things at a time.
Right now all of the modders are already bussy on a project, including a mod for BSP.

There's no need to start a big brand new project right now, but it could be happening in the future.

With the people we have now, I totally agree, having 2 complete projects at the same time gives absolutely no sense. Why would we bother coordinating our work if it was to divide it ?

I think we have enough people, and the teams are for future projects not the current project. Besides I don't know why but i hate seeing that whatever we do we keep on hitting a wall.

Modding takes time, and everyone who isn't modding doesn't know what's going on.
We're making progress, we really do, although it might seem as we're hitting a wall.
Give it some more time and we can start doing new projects, but right now we need to focus on the ongoing ones.

The reason I said we're hitting a wall is because

1- The engine is so strict and doesn't allow to much modding.
2- We don't even know the engine so it's impossible to do Battlestations next.

Battlestations Next was never a reasonable idea.
We simply can't create a new game with such a small mod team.

The engine of BSP allows for quite some modding, we were already able to make BSM scenarios in BSP wich is a great thing in my eyes.
Though I don't know that much about the BSP engine, I've seen some quite good stuff.

  • The Dictator : Makeo67 i've explained how to find the unused slots in the topic and the mmod2txm it's a program that has been shared. However there aren't so many ships with unused platforms and sme of them are in wrong positions and for move them you need to know how to change the mmod file. But if you know how to do it you can make new platfors as you want. I've shared the south dakota disposition and this one is the most intersting in my opinion
