Since december 2012 Battlestations: Midway is supported by GameSpy no longer. The only one possibility for Midway players is GameRanger. Please visit www.gameranger.com, download Gameranger client and make new account. You can find other Midway players in the Gameranger rooms. BS:M patch 1.1.1 is required to play online battles. Iowa Mission Pack and Midway Modders Mappacks 1 and 2 are recommended.

Developing a schenmatic library for BSP

Developing a schenmatic library for BSP

To BSP Community ,
I am developing a schematic library of BSP. So that those who want to mod this game will know where to look and what areas they wish to develop. This will also help me too! (smile) Anyway, That is all. Take care, Bushidocode.

Re: Developing a schenmatic library for BSP

Bushidocode Is there any way to put the models of battleships at Pearl Harbor for handling (conquest insular, grief, etc ...), if only the main artillery?

Re: Developing a schenmatic library for BSP

Okay I do not know where to put this, so I put it here
I uploaded a set of community-made tools to work on MMODs with some little help on how to use it, but I better warn that there is no easy way to play with the game engine.

Credits goes to whoever did the tools, I don't remember.

Re: Developing a schenmatic library for BSP

Those tools were made for BSM, so yeah. It can work (sometimes) for BSP too.

Cool! By the way, the link to the Eidos MMOD converter is broken. (When you type it in the address bar you get an error:

Re: Developing a schenmatic library for BSP

Reply Oomperial: Thank you very much!! You are an angel in disguise. (smile)  Yes, just a quick review of the two files: completemod1 downloads, there IS a huge difference. In the new mega file via classes section, all files have been increased in data. Also, I finally got to see and have completemod2. (smile)  This is progress!! Have a great day and everyone in the whole BSP community throughout the world. With only the best regards always, Bushidocode.

Thank you sooo much! You are a credit to both BSM and BSP ab (Takes ages to even get a reply from some people lol). Now (hopefully) i can begin adding new units to new maps for BSM. If you need help with anything, or a favor or whatever, just ask! I owe you one!

Re: Developing a schenmatic library for BSP

I apologize, I'm not sure if I understand the point of this thread... by schematic library, do you mean this thread is for compiling reference material to make new units?

Re: Developing a schenmatic library for BSP

Reply Triviaman: Hello. (smile) No need to apologize. Forgive me for the delay. I am so sorry that I made a mistake by infusing both schematic and library together.

Allow me to explain: The BSP schematics will be layout the original structure from BSP CD disk. We must have a clear understanding of the game's infrastructure. This will not only help me stay focus with OUR work but to help new comers as well via what areas they wish to work on to expand the body of knowledge.  Of course, our aim is to get new units in both BSP and BSM. Because this is an intentional effort, we are committed to have each country represented: Germany, British, Italy, France, Greece, Soviet Union, and China (just to name of few)

The BSP library will consist of all work done by the original authors respectfully. Since the BSP schematic and library will have its original setting, a test old and new files will be conducted for reliability and validity purposes. However, all work is a success: big or small / important or non important. Another reason for the BSP library is to explain each file with a editorial or tutorial like the great work as BSM guide - what a masterpiece!!

So why will I devote my time, energy, and resources to this cause. Simply, we should not forget history and never have it repeat. The extreme measure of hatred is war. We all lose!!

With that said, I close for now. I am very proud of everyone!! (smile)  I regret that I have not done this sooner. Lord knows!! (smile)  I have great plans but I can't reveal them now because my actions must speak louder than words!! To everyone I bid farewell, Take care always, Bushidocode.

P.S. With time, we can achieve the unthinkable with hopes and dreams!! We have accomplished so much in such little time. We have the desire and motivation (support)

  • Axis_Crusher : Bismarck Mission Pack incoming!
  • jon_man0499 : Happy belated New year to all
  • Axis_Crusher : HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
  • YamatoFavor : Would be great if the models are from Wows
  • alantay11 : Is there a way to fill up the empty ship slots when using SurgeonSasha's Yamato? Or is it my game not showing the models?
  • Axis_Crusher : Thanks, but we already implemented both ships in the Advanced Warfare Pack a few months ago...
  • SurgeonSasha : Северная каролина («link» ямато 1945 («link»
  • Legendary Da : Hi everyone, I have one (or two) quick question about BS:M modding. I try to figure out sp mapmaking, and my first act on it was to convert a MP map to SP. However I can only play as Allies in those maps. What parameter do I have to change to play those maps as Japanese in the respective map .mpak (And where is the parameter I have to change?)?
  • N_Trainz : G'day mates, I just wanted to let those who use Windows 10 and also for those who are having troubles getting the game launching because of Games for Windows LIVE, I made a tutorial of how to get it working successfully again like on Windows 8.1. Its on my channel and here's the link to the video. «link»
  • Mokeo67 : The dictator, I downloaded the mmod2txm and I added four slots to the fletcher and a couple to the lexington. Thanks for the help though.
  • The Dictator : Makeo67 i've explained how to find the unused slots in the topic and the mmod2txm it's a program that has been shared. However there aren't so many ships with unused platforms and sme of them are in wrong positions and for move them you need to know how to change the mmod file. But if you know how to do it you can make new platfors as you want. I've shared the south dakota disposition and this one is the most intersting in my opinion
  • N_Trainz : Well it looks like we have spammers again
  • Mokeo67 : No problem Thanks for the help
  • Axis_Crusher : Not really
  • Mokeo67 : Ok thanks anyway. Do you know who does?
  • Axis_Crusher : Unfortunately I don't deal with that part of modding
  • Mokeo67 : Sorry forgot the link. «link»
  • Mokeo67 : This is the forum topic I meant. The dictator said he found the unused slots in the TXM file obtainable with the mmod2txm, what is this and is it available to use.
  • Axis_Crusher : This is your best bet: «link»
  • Mokeo67 : Also I saw on the forum that ships have unused platform slots. How do I use these?
