Since december 2012 Battlestations: Midway is supported by GameSpy no longer. The only one possibility for Midway players is GameRanger. Please visit, download Gameranger client and make new account. You can find other Midway players in the Gameranger rooms. BS:M patch 1.1.1 is required to play online battles. Iowa Mission Pack and Midway Modders Mappacks 1 and 2 are recommended.

Hello again,

I was reading the patch notes of the changelog of the bspmodhq 3.0. I saw it said that the ships or planes dont repair over time, I was wondering where I could revert that, as I use a trainer occasionally that usually makes the ship invulnerable but since installing the mod they still lose health. I think that might the repair thing might be keeping them from maintaining health when the trainer option is activated. Yeah I like to cheat in games, play my own way sometimes.  :->

Also, I was wondering what lines of code in the vehicle class lua dictate the health of the ships and their compartments. I'd like to if possible to set it up where the engines or guns never go out.

If you want to revert the ship regeneration you need to extract the GGame__OnInit.mpak from your installation disk/backup using the BSP Ripper.
In the extracted folder you need to navigate to BSP Ripper\ExtractedFiles\GGame__OnInit.mpak\scripts\datatables
Copy the shipglobals.lua to Battlestations Pacific\scripts\datatables and allow the file to be replaced.

In vehicleclasses.lua there is a health entry. Here is an example from the Fletcher:
["HP"] = 2800,

Armour is defined like this:
["Armour"] = 60,

The same applies to the weapons in deviceclasses.lua

And just for the record, it's BSmodHQ and not BSPmodHQ

  • The Dictator : Makeo67 i've explained how to find the unused slots in the topic and the mmod2txm it's a program that has been shared. However there aren't so many ships with unused platforms and sme of them are in wrong positions and for move them you need to know how to change the mmod file. But if you know how to do it you can make new platfors as you want. I've shared the south dakota disposition and this one is the most intersting in my opinion
