Hello,
I have been a member here for some time but inactive for a very long time! I figured here would be tons of mods out there for this game by now but seams I was wrong, years back I released a simple mod with the link on the website but the host  shut the website down so gone forever! That was me sorry.  Now with that out of the way I have been modding games for 12 years I have modded many games and released in upwards of 300 mods to the public over the years! I just recently started playing BSP again and it didnt take long I started modding it again. If this site supports downloads I will start adding them here they are simple but more functional than most of the simple mods I have seen. I have a US and JAP campaign cheater mod I made basically allows you to get your unlocks and gold medals very easily if you are lazy like me. I have also started a larger scale mod I will release a beta version of it as well what is does is simple makes island capture very interesting! I have edited the settings of point values and command points time limits all that stuff is customizable such as 25000 capture points all the way to 2500 capture points and command points are variable from 2500 to 99900 I have the ships guns and ranges greatly changed but it is a work n progress in this game alot of great powerful units in WWII are kinda worthless so I started working on that.

sorry for the rant I just hope I can bring some new life and simplicity to the game for all of you.

Yeah I have seen that I will be making new mods I am not asking for mods the code for this game is fairly simple I have already made a few new SP missions when I want to play I want firepower so I have changed cape esperince map to have 3 cruisers and a battleship Ill change it again cause that is not really that much of a map but puts you up against more cruisers and destroyers as well as battleships! I will work on the bigger carrier battle maps adding in alot of ships you dont get much use out of as well as different planes on the carriers.

You mean from other games like rip them and convert them? or to put new ships in old missions from the game?  I have made a few things here my mod project is getting much larger I am making this mod for playability as well as fun I have  created a few things they are not historically accurate and that is why I like them! I ever use the clemson class to me is it useless in the game but that all changed today I decided to mess with it and now it has (2) 4 inch guns on each side (3) 5 inch single fletcher turrets and I added dual barrel 20 mm flak guns added (4) fletcher torpedo tubes as well well as increased speed and armor and a grand total of 99 torpedos also I decided to spice up the Elco PT boat added more speed armor and 40 torpedos as well as a 4 inch deck gun to the rear now it is sum what useful! I will keep you posted on this I have made a ton of changes and made the game alot more challenging as well I have been working on the missions adding new objectives more units and just make for a knock down drag out fight!

Ok my cape esperience map update I have successfully made this map into a fun level to play now takes about 20 minutes on regular not sure about vetren yet I would say it would be tough you start with the uss new York  uss new jersey hms renown and hms York you start out with the odds matched you are up against a kuma fuso and kongo ships the pt part of the level has waves of pt and destroyers and heavy cruisers I'm still tunning on it but it is close to how I want it a complete new experience in a familiar world there will be more to come

So you can import new ships? there are some few ships only that needed to be imported so will you do it? also i have a fun map on my own plus its historical will you make it? also Axis needed some people like you in LSP progress if you want to see more details about LSP you can see it in Pacific editor forum

I didn't import anything there is a lot of stuff in this game most have never seen I a just good at reading script this script for this game is fairly simple when I made maps for call of duty one map might have 15 cfg files to carry the functions all the ships I listed above are nothing more than editing the right scripts to get what you want  there are more ships I'm working on hiddenin the scripts some things crash the game others don't with the Clemson for instance I can fill it with Fletcher turrets but on the other hand you cannot place 6 inch guns on a Fletcher I can make a mission basiccaly play the same but because of tougher enemy you have to change tactics I have edit all guns and ship armor by tonnage example: yamato is 74,000 ton to so basically you would have to hit it with an iowa class 148 times the Iowa is set to 58,000 this is where all your ships and tactics must come into play a real ship battle

so will you help us create singleplayer maps (which includes battle of Leyte gulf, Battle of philippine Sea and Sibuyan Sea dash (this plan of mine is quite simple i'll explain it  to you later)

Yeah once I finish some of these small projects the battle leyte was actually 4 different engagements but there is a few maps that might work well for this there was 367 ships abd 2000 aircraft envolved in that battle might be hard to replicate that many ships but I think it can be done I'll have to play a few maps and see which is best suited for this if it can be done with the ship mod I am using would take you probably an hour or longer to sink that much stuff but it would be fun

well i'll give you a map plan for that please tell me if you are done with your project so i can give the map plan. also here a little information about the mission we will only lessen the american ships (because the american ships were toooooooo many) to balance the game (we will not lessen the japanese ships because well they are already few)
also i wanna tell you about one my map plan (its included in battle of leyte gulf)
-Sibuyan Sea Dash
in this mission well the objectives are simple for the Japanese is to reach the way point  and for the Americans sink all the Japanese Key units (which is the battleships and the Cruisers).

I need a place to put the mods I made I am having issues with my ship tonnage mod but the ship guns part works I think I know what's causing the problem with it but I have an island capture mod as well as cape esperience sp map completed I did some looking and when it is time for the leyte project cape engano map will work great if I can make it work there is 529 entities that I think I can change so biggest naval battle in history can possibly be replicated

It is possible but some of those battles were small one of them was a sub battle that took out 2 cruisers I can replicate that with the sub map by adding in another sub also the cape engano map is huge and I plan for that to be a large scale battle it is a scaled down version there was 3 jap cruisers and 2 jap battle ships along with the 4 hap carriers I think I can add operation 10 go to that map I'll just have to update mission scripts I can already add the yamato and muashi in it now I haven't but I can I have however added another battleship you start the mission with 3 now there was 8 I do believe it won't be historically accurate but close if I can get it done the mission should take you about an hour just because of the shear firepower and ships you must destroy  anyway I and looking into what can and can't be done as of now

  • Legendary Da : Hi everyone, I have one (or two) quick question about BS:M modding. I try to figure out sp mapmaking, and my first act on it was to convert a MP map to SP. However I can only play as Allies in those maps. What parameter do I have to change to play those maps as Japanese in the respective map .mpak (And where is the parameter I have to change?)?

  • Mokeo67 : The dictator, I downloaded the mmod2txm and I added four slots to the fletcher and a couple to the lexington.Thanks for the help though.
  • The Dictator : Makeo67 i've explained how to find the unused slots in the topic and the mmod2txm it's a program that has been shared. However there aren't so many ships with unused platforms and sme of them are in wrong positions and for move them you need to know how to change the mmod file. But if you know how to do it you can make new platfors as you want. I've shared the south dakota disposition and this one is the most intersting in my opinion

  • Mokeo67 : I tried changing the bogue class carrier to a yorktown class in the phillipene sea mission and one of two things happened. The mission either didnt change or the game crashed.

  • Axis_Crusher : specific mission’s 3_scene mpak file by working on the .lua file. There is where the bonus unit is actually added into the mission (by the script). I haven't tried it myself so good luck.
  • Axis_Crusher : I assume you are talking about the bonus units that you unlock for certain missions by completing previous ones (like the B - 25’s in the 2nd Battle of Guadalcanal). The bonus units are unlocked by completing certain objectives in the campaign - so that is linked to your campaign progress. Since that cannot be altered you must look at the missiontree.lua file. This is where the unit will show up unlocked on the mission screen. There are references to allunitslock. Also you will have to edit the
  • Mokeo67 : Thank you I will look in this file. I did unlock all the campaign missions, all you have to do is delete the text after 'prerequisite' and it will unlock. But I havent figured out how to unlock the bonus units.
  • Axis_Crusher : I also prefer it being off, just as most of the BSM community. Most players, however prefer repair to be enabled so that is what we should do. Most of our maps it will be disabled through the script however. If you want to play with the game's repair settings you can find it under shipglobals.lua
