Since december 2012 Battlestations: Midway is supported by GameSpy no longer. The only one possibility for Midway players is GameRanger. Please visit www.gameranger.com, download Gameranger client and make new account. You can find other Midway players in the Gameranger rooms. BS:M patch 1.1.1 is required to play online battles. Iowa Mission Pack and Midway Modders Mappacks 1 and 2 are recommended.

I will post here for future updates on my import progress
DO NOT WORRY i'm not greedy!!
My list of planned ships.
-Yamato Ten-Ichi (almost complete)
-Yamato Leyte - Done - Surgeon
-Musashi Leyte - Done - Surgeon
-Myoko Leyte
-Tone Leyte
-Atago/Takao Leyte
-1945 Yukikaze (kagero class)
-Shimakaze 1944
-Nagato 1944  -  Done (Gun positions only needs to be fixed)
-Kongo 1944
-Suzuya 1944
-1945 Hatsushimo (Hatsukaze/Hatsuharu class)
-Taiho (maybe i dunno how to work on the elevators)
-Zuiho (maybe i dunno how to work on the elevators)
-Shokaku (maybe i dunno how to work on the elevators)
-Junyo (I don't have the files of this one someone provide me an Obj of this i can work on it)

US ships (I DON'T PLAN TO CHANGE THIS ONE MAYBE JUST ADD SOME NECESSARY SHIPS such as the Essex Class and the Independence class) if someone knows how to create "slots" for guns and fix some funnel smoke position please support me many Thanks

EDIT:
Also someone who is good or minor in photoshop i need them to change the deck color of the ship (we are aiming for historical accuracy here)
and please guys note most of the ships will few have "Children Objects" (objects on ship) because since of you guys want a fast progress so yeah i want to minimize the amount of "Children Models"

EDIT:
Please note that importing a unit isn't easy as hell!!! it will take me maybe 2-3 weeks to finish 1 Unit! or 2 weeks maybe because of the amount of models and textures plus mmod modding/txm editing

Ok here we are it is a SUCCESS MY STUDIES IS WORTH IT

so the problem is the texture i haven't applied it in Lightwave so it doesn't load which is the problem
so it this will be just a WIP for now i'll have you guys fix the positions soon ab please do ab because it is facing backwards and shooting on the wrong barrel needs to be edited in device classes i think but i'll let you guys handle it ad
also it comes along with a damage model *Cheers*

Update:
I Fixed the backward position of the gun i edited in the TXM the main problem is the texture if i know how to fix the texture problem the import is complete and i can deal with the list. also the gun barrel is elevating, it has a damage model, no crashes occured its almost complete just the texture is the main problem hope you guys can help me.

There is only one person that I know of that can help you with the textrue. Oomperial. This is what he does and look at what he did in the Complete Mod.
You can still catch him on Skype.

bofors hehehe ok i'll import that soon ab once i fix up the texture problem. i'm more focused on the jap side but i think bofors is already imported by Surgeon check his 1945 Cleveland

I have the 1945 Cleveland, but the Bofors seems like a duplicate of the existing twin barrel.

  • Legendary Da : I had guessed it was about the wrong area, though I still wondered why it had been removed. Thanks for taking your time to make something better for the community. Take as much time as you require, though; life still comes first.
  • N_Trainz : Actually it was removed by me for 2 reasons; 1. was it was uploaded in the wrong area and 2. the installer didn't autp - detect the disk version, only the Steam version (since that is what I have). Going to remake it so if you won't mind a but longer wat that'll be appreciated
  • Legendary Da : Thanks soo much for the mod, I couldn't access to the Internet lately so I couldn't write a reply. Btw, the mod is removed from ModDB, is it taken down, or you removed it yourself? Either way, thanks for the awesome work (at least for providing it) :D

I finally got it working, and just figured out how to make the updater now since it'll be two parts with one containing the misc files and the other mostly the mpak files. It'll be a stand - alone DLC mod just like the Bismarck Mission Pack was. Like I said I plan to have it all completed and uploaded by this weekend
