When i play this game my computer shuts down for no reason after 15 minutes of Gameplay. i have already tried reinstalling it and the problem is still there.

My second problem is that the sound seems to lag from the video.

My hardware:

ASUS HDMI 4850 ATI = Vid

Anthalon AMD 64 4000+ = CPU

Help! Thank you!

Re: Help Please i have technical issues

Ok - lets start. Problems with game crashing (shutting down computer etc etc) sometimes are hard to recognize. First of all You must be sure u have newest versions of your drivers installed. Tell us more - which Windows you use (XP or Vista), tell us you can recognise your version of drivers or not and you know how to  unistall old/install new drivers or not.

There are links to free download of drivers. http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
http://support.creative.com/Products/pr … d+Blaster#

Try to reduce your settings. Looks like your graphic card is really good (I played 1650x1080 without problems), but your processor is a little to low. This is possible reason of audio lags.

It's possible your processor is too hot after these 15 minutes of playing and mainboard shutting down your PC to prevent this unit to be overheated.

OK - and take this - try to close all programs working with windows like communicators, mail clients, extra add ons, try to reduce your graphic settings. Go to options/ graphic setting and reduce your quality setting. Set all to OFF or LOW and test this.

Re: Help Please i have technical issues

1)download new drivers.
2) go to your Control Panel, open Add/Remove Programs
3) select Ati or Ati Radeon Driver(s) then click Remove button. Its possible you have more than one Ati programs installed (something like Ati Control Panel or ATI Uninstall Tool) - uninstall them all.
There is the Ati logo, so icon will be similar.

5) Restart your PC - your desktop will change his resolution, don't be scared.
6) Just install new drivers (and restart your PC again. Thats all.

Re: Help Please i have technical issues

First of all try this with graphic drivers, and test your game for crashing, in my opinion graphic driver is more important (but not always).

Re: Help Please i have technical issues

All. You can remove ATI - Software Uninstall Utility first. If i remember good, this is a little program which can uninstall all other Ati programs. New Ati driver will install all these programs again.

Mainboard monitor can tell you in which temperature your processor is working - test when you play. Good and easy way to minimize you processor temperature is - clean your CPU Fan and/or radiator. Sometimes its enough, when you're using vacuum cleaner for that ab

Re: Help Please i have technical issues

hello,

I have read the above and if you are sure it is not your graphics card which in my case I am having problems with and you are sure your cpu is over heating there is a program called motherboard monitor it allows you to check your tempertures of everything and change when they come on also are you sure that your fans are working at all? there is no need for a fan when just browsing the internet but when you are gaming you are maxing out your pc and there for causeing heat I have fried a pc from this constant online gaming for hours so see if your fans are working most pcs have 2 a case fan and a processor fan it may be that your processor fan quit on you.

Re: Help Please i have technical issues

if the problem is still happening, go to start, run, and type in "msconfig"
then go to the services tab and uncheck them all, restart and try your game
if it doesn't work, check them all again and go to the startup tab and uncheck all of them then shutdown and try game
if it doesn't work and you have an antivirus software, turn it off and try your game. If when you turn off one of these and in works (lets say when you turn off all the services it works) then turn off half, restart and try your game. Then do process of elimination to find the one that is the problem.

my game (midway) was broken and this fixed it

  • Legendary Da : Hi everyone, I have one (or two) quick question about BS:M modding. I try to figure out sp mapmaking, and my first act on it was to convert a MP map to SP. However I can only play as Allies in those maps. What parameter do I have to change to play those maps as Japanese in the respective map .mpak (And where is the parameter I have to change?)?
  • N_Trainz : G'day mates, I just wanted to let those who use Windows 10 and also for those who are having troubles getting the game launching because of Games for Windows LIVE, I made a tutorial of how to get it working successfully again like on Windows 8.1. Its on my channel and here's the link to the video. «link»
  • Mokeo67 : The dictator, I downloaded the mmod2txm and I added four slots to the fletcher and a couple to the lexington. Thanks for the help though.
  • The Dictator : Makeo67 i've explained how to find the unused slots in the topic and the mmod2txm it's a program that has been shared. However there aren't so many ships with unused platforms and sme of them are in wrong positions and for move them you need to know how to change the mmod file. But if you know how to do it you can make new platfors as you want. I've shared the south dakota disposition and this one is the most intersting in my opinion
  • N_Trainz : Well it looks like we have spammers again
  • Mokeo67 : No problem Thanks for the help
  • Axis_Crusher : Not really
  • Mokeo67 : Ok thanks anyway. Do you know who does?
  • Axis_Crusher : Unfortunately I don't deal with that part of modding
  • Mokeo67 : Sorry forgot the link. «link»
  • Mokeo67 : This is the forum topic I meant. The dictator said he found the unused slots in the TXM file obtainable with the mmod2txm, what is this and is it available to use.
  • Axis_Crusher : This is your best bet: «link»
  • Mokeo67 : Also I saw on the forum that ships have unused platform slots. How do I use these?
  • Mokeo67 : I tried changing the bogue class carrier to a yorktown class in the phillipene sea mission and one of two things happened. The mission either didnt change or the game crashed.
  • Axis_Crusher : No problem
  • Mokeo67 : That is what im talking about. Ill have a look at it later thanks for the help
  • Axis_Crusher : specific mission’s 3_scene mpak file by working on the .lua file. There is where the bonus unit is actually added into the mission (by the script). I haven't tried it myself so good luck.
  • Axis_Crusher : I assume you are talking about the bonus units that you unlock for certain missions by completing previous ones (like the B - 25’s in the 2nd Battle of Guadalcanal). The bonus units are unlocked by completing certain objectives in the campaign - so that is linked to your campaign progress. Since that cannot be altered you must look at the missiontree.lua file. This is where the unit will show up unlocked on the mission screen. There are references to allunitslock. Also you will have to edit the
  • Mokeo67 : Thank you I will look in this file. I did unlock all the campaign missions, all you have to do is delete the text after 'prerequisite' and it will unlock. But I havent figured out how to unlock the bonus units.
  • Axis_Crusher : I also prefer it being off, just as most of the BSM community. Most players, however prefer repair to be enabled so that is what we should do. Most of our maps it will be disabled through the script however. If you want to play with the game's repair settings you can find it under shipglobals.lua
