Since december 2012 Battlestations: Midway is supported by GameSpy no longer. The only one possibility for Midway players is GameRanger. Please visit www.gameranger.com, download Gameranger client and make new account. You can find other Midway players in the Gameranger rooms. BS:M patch 1.1.1 is required to play online battles. Iowa Mission Pack and Midway Modders Mappacks 1 and 2 are recommended.

WOLFPACK (new mape idea)

Some of you may remember, somtime ago I suggested to you a new mape idea.
It’s name is WOLFPACK

In WW2 lot of AK been sunk by SS even protected by a fleat.

Mission is quite simple
US team have to ansure minimum one AK cross the mape.

US:
9 AK (internal ring)
1 CV
16 DD (external ring)

JAP:
8 SS

It look like easy to create, but still really fun map. Now we should wait for our modders reaction. But You have my vote. IMO this could be crazy and fun map.

looks fun!! but i am seeing its jap SSs i am guessing since we have no german subs the japs are a substitute right? still looks great u gots my vote

better japs then nothing dude.. besides if we want german subs once we get completely new units on game then we can get files from BSP and put the german sub (from meet the germans) on this site so we can create a new  unit

same... but tipsy or gamming for dummys once they find out im sure they will do it.. (fucking pisses me off that i spent 50 bucks on that game and guess what I CANT PLAY IT!!)

the map itself is not hard to create,

most of it anyway

but i think this one will have to wait until we can confirm that we know how to import a new unit  into the game
to really make it accurate.

im thinking at least a german submarine
but maybe a new carrier as wel as a new plane that can carry dephtcharges

if Gamming-for-dummys can creat german sub, don't forget that they had snorchel.
i you don't what is it to get full oxygen without to be in surface (same level as periscop and torpedo use). If needed I can provide a drawing to be more clear. ab
torpedo capacity it is up to 36 torpedos

whoa

BISMARK, slow down

at the moment we don't have ghosts program yet
and when we do we still have to learn how to use it

ghost will be giving us the first version of his program in 12 days
and after that it will take some time for us to learn how to use it right
so don't expect this map to be made within the next 20-25 days

but in the mean time we will release our mappack sooner than that

and about the snorchel

i don;t think its possible to make a perriscope like device that can replenish air while submerged
that requires us to tamper with the game enige itself and thats something we are unalbe to do.

if we where able to tamper with it i would have made a special anti sub torpedoe long ago
(i have been seaching for the proper code but i can't find it, so no luck)

  • The Dictator : Makeo67 i've explained how to find the unused slots in the topic and the mmod2txm it's a program that has been shared. However there aren't so many ships with unused platforms and sme of them are in wrong positions and for move them you need to know how to change the mmod file. But if you know how to do it you can make new platfors as you want. I've shared the south dakota disposition and this one is the most intersting in my opinion
