Please visit www.gameranger.com, download Gameranger client and make new account. You can find other Midway players in the Gameranger rooms. BS:M patch 1.1.1 is required to play online battles. Iowa Mission Pack and Midway Modders Mappacks 1 and 2 are recommended.

this is a super intersting map.
but in my opinion, there is a trouble. If US forces keep far from JAP, they have very big advantage with air superiority.
I could test it with Velcor.

I noticed that the map has no Briefing. Maybe i lost something, but i do not have briefing_mm_MMission31.mpak on my hard disk. Pls remember about that with next update.

Not VERY big advantage for usa....only for skilled players.We must remember that most players looking for an immediate action without using too much tactics (60-70% of players).I know this because i saw how are played mappack1.

After last update, usa advantage is just a little - very little. Before - 7 vs 12 squads, now - 6 vs 9. SO - it will be really hard to seriously damage Yamato with planes....

To damadge the Yamato, there is the New Jersey. Est_PL : you are alaways saying that the New Jersey is so trong than the Yamato.
There is an other unit can do the difference : it's the sub.
Sub is able to torps the Yamato and do damadge.

Of course, it is possible to add 1 squad for 1 US CV. I think it 'isn't the good way. Will see, need more test.

I'm saying it's a battleships with similar armour and guns (in our game). So finally... everything can happens when two monsters fighting. Yamato can win but NJ can win too...

It was a great fight yesterday evening....all  players were skilled. The Japanese won. I believe that the map is finally balanced

the new jersey is almost as powerfull as yamato, yamato is a tad stronger i think

but in reality (not our game) the yamato could face off to two iowa classes and still be albe to win

i think that the damage the NY classes do in samar is more acurate to what the strengh of the iowa should be compared to yamato.

new york should not be able to harm the yamato period. (14 inch shells against armor designed to withstand 16 inch shells)

basicly just like my problem with the KGV being to weak, I say that yamato is actually to weak as well.

(im just saying this, we are not gonna change it, since it is an original unit)

It'll be a stand - alone DLC mod just like the Bismarck Mission Pack was. Like I said I plan to have it all completed and uploaded by this weekend
