How to add pictures to your post on forum

Press Reply button (if You want to add answer) or New topic button (if You want to add new topic).

You can add pictures using two ways:

• external (image file is hosted by other servers).

Click Image Link button on Toolbar. New tags are added to your post. It looks like

Just paste image adress between ][ characters. It should looks like

[img width=100px height=100px]http://www.victorialodging.com/files/pallada-tall-ship.jpg[/img]

These values width=100px height=100px define the size of thumbnail (small icon) of picture. This thumbnail will be added to your post and original image will be displayed after clicking this thumbnail. You can change these values if you want correct proportions for your thumbnail. Example - your picture is 1280 x 800. Set width=128px height=80px to get correct aspect ratio for your thumbnail. Thumbnails are created automatically after pressing Submit button.

• internal (image file is stored on your hard disk)

If You want to add a picture located on your hard disk - use Attachments. Just click on Attachments below the forum editor. In new window there are two sections.

Upload a file click Browse and choose a file located on your hard disk, then click Submit. File is uploading to battlestations.eu server.

My Uploads - this is a list of files uploaded to battlestations.eu by You. Just click Insert button corresponding to Image (or other filetype for example .zip) you want to attach to your post. Corresponding means located in the same row of table. Window will be closed and correct code will be added to your post. It looks like

Done. Image thumbnail will be added to your post. Any user can click on thumbnail to see original sized picture with nice lightbox effect.
