Battlestations Midway - Indian Ocean Raid

Last days many of Midway players got a little surprised when they joined Game Lobby.

Raid of Truk ?
How its possible to play Raid on Truk in multiplayer mode?
Did I missed something?
Where I can get this map?

Okay let me explain this...

Battlestations Midway: Testing new map with succes.

Only short info at this moment. Today evening we succesfully tested new Midway multiplayer map called Indian Ocean Raid. Thanks to the great job of Gaming-for-dummys, and nice map concept by The Eye, this map is already done. We joined multiplayer server and we finished this map twice (2 vs 2).

With all these units (20 japanese ships including 4 carriers, 2 battleships and 16 american ships including 2 carriers, 4 battleships) we experienced really intense battle in the air (18 squads)and on the sea. New units for multiplayer mode are Hurricane fighter and Minekaze class destroyer.

But more important thing is - modding of Battlestations Midway is now possible. Many peoples tried, Gaming-for-dummys just did that.

Battlestations Midway Mod - Next - Projecting and testing phase.

At least almost all is discovered. I'm glad to inform all Midway fans about new phase with our game modification. At this moment Gaming-for-dummies has a full information about how-to modify the game and add new map. But - if you are really Midway fan, you can add your 5 cents for this modification.

Any help is appreciated, you don't need to know, how to modify or add maps. At this moment, we currently looking for team of beta-testers (already we have 5 - we looking for about 8-10 guys) for new maps. Also any new idea and all projects for new maps will be aprecciated. You can be an author on new Midway map and new concepts for these new maps. If You are interesting with that, join our team and help us with your opinions or maybe you can support us with your great new map idea.

And you can find first published ideas for new maps, and maybe add your own on our forum.

Battlestations: Midway Mod - another step to the great final.

Battlestations Midway newsYesterday I when i was playing Midway with friends, gaming-for-dummies joined our server. He asked me if I could help him checking something. Of course I agreed. So I joined his server and I saw things that made me Looool. A BIG LOL. I always thought: moddding of Battlestations: Midway is impossible. Gaming-for-dummies shows us that - everything is possible. The first map that is working, and accepted by GameSpy multiplayer for Midway, is done (in beta stage). This is the first big step to bring new life for this game.
